NOTICE OF ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the date of the poll for the election of Members of the Drainage Board for the several electoral districts of the above named Drainage Board will, if a poll be necessary, Wednesday 27th October 2021(Melverley IDD) and Thursday 28th October 2021 (Rea IDD)
The number of Members of the Rea Internal Drainage Board is 12
The number of Members of the Melverley Internal Drainage Board is 12
Each candidate for the election must be nominated in writing and the nomination paper must be sent to me so that it is received at 75 Rowton Road, Shrewsbury SY2 6JA no later than noon on Wednesday 29th September 2021(Melverley IDD) and noon on Thursday 30th October 2021(Rea IDD)
An elector may not sign more nomination papers than there are members to be elected for the electoral districts of the Drainage District.
Forms of nomination paper may be obtained free of charge from me at my office below

Votes at the election of Members of a Drainage Board may be given either personally or by deputy. A deputy shall be appointed in writing by the Appointer either generally or in relation to a particular election, but he or she shall not be entitled to vote unless the instrument appointing him or her shall have been deposited at the office of the Drainage Board not later than the last day fixed for receipt of nominations
